Accessing photos from iCloud

Do you want to retrieve photos from your photo stream and you don't know how? That was also my question before I searched the web for answers. Good thing I stumbled on a very informative site and thus, I got the help I need.

1. If you haven't set up your iCloud yet, here are the instructions. iCloud Setup

2. Next is to check if you have turned on your Photo Stream.
To check: Click Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream > On

3. Once the Photo Stream is on, you'll notice that if you take photos, it will be saved in both your Camera Roll and Photo Stream album.

4. Then, download the iCloud Control panel in your PC or Mac. For Mac users, click here for instructions. For PC users, like me, click here to download.

5. Once you have downloaded the iCloud Control panel and signed in, a window will open as shown below:

6. Click Options to change the upload and download folders. The default settings will save your photos in your My Pictures inside the Photo Stream folder.

7. In my case, I waited for 11 minutes to retrieve 316 out of a 1000 photos. Just keep checking it ever now and then.

8. Whatever photos you put in the uploads folder will be automatically saved in your Photo Stream.

Good luck!:)
